2
Go to your profile dashboard
Click your profile avatar or name in the top-right corner of any page. Select Dashboard from the dropdown menu to open your personal giving overview.
3
Click "Donation History"
In your dashboard, select Donation History from the left-hand navigation panel. This opens a full list of every donation you’ve made while logged in to your account.
Reading Your Donation History
Your donation history displays each transaction in a table with the following columns:
You can sort the table by any column and filter by date range to narrow down your history. Use the date filter to pull up donations from a specific month or year, which is especially useful at tax time.
Downloading Receipts
Do Donate generates a PDF receipt for every completed donation. To download a receipt:- Locate the donation in your history table.
- Click the Download Receipt icon in the row for that donation.
- A PDF receipt will download to your device immediately.
Receipts are also emailed to you automatically at the time of each donation. Check your inbox for an email from Do Donate — if you can’t find it, check your spam folder and add noreply@dodonate.com to your contacts to ensure future receipts are delivered.
Tax Deductibility
Whether your donation qualifies as a tax deduction depends on the registered status of the campaign organizer and the laws in your country or region.- Registered charities
- Personal fundraisers
Some campaigns on Do Donate are run by registered nonprofit organizations or charities. Donations to these campaigns may be tax-deductible in your jurisdiction. The campaign page will note if the organizer is a registered charity. Your downloadable receipt will include the organizer’s registration details, which you can use when filing your taxes.
