Creating an account and browsing campaigns on Do Donate is completely free. Anyone can sign up, explore causes, and make donations at no cost. Campaign creators can also start a fundraiser for free — Do Donate only deducts a small platform fee from funds raised, so you never pay anything upfront to launch your campaign.
Do Donate charges a platform fee of 5% on funds raised through each campaign. In addition, a payment processing fee — typically 1.9% + a small fixed amount — is applied by our payment provider. These fees are deducted automatically before funds are transferred to the campaign organizer. Donors always see the exact amount that goes to the campaign before completing their donation.
Yes. When making a donation, check the Donate anonymously option on the checkout page. Your name will not appear on the campaign’s public donor list. The campaign organizer will still be able to see the donation amount in their dashboard for accounting purposes, but your identity will not be visible to them or to the public.
Do Donate does not offer automatic refunds, as donations are intended to go directly to campaign organizers. However, if you believe you made a donation in error or experienced an unauthorized charge, please contact our support team at support@do-donate.com within 14 days of the transaction. We will review your request and work with you to resolve it. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Once your campaign is verified and a withdrawal is initiated, funds typically arrive in your linked bank account within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank and country. You can initiate a withdrawal from your campaign dashboard at any time once your balance meets the minimum payout threshold. You will receive an email confirmation when the transfer is processed.
Yes — anyone with a verified Do Donate account can start a campaign. You will need to provide basic details about your cause, a campaign goal, and a description of how the funds will be used. Some campaign types may require additional verification, such as campaigns raising funds on behalf of a registered charity or organization. Do Donate reserves the right to review and remove campaigns that violate our community guidelines.
Do Donate uses a flexible funding model by default, which means campaign organizers receive all funds raised even if the campaign does not reach its stated goal. The goal is intended to give donors a sense of the target — not a requirement for funds to be released. If a campaign you donated to does not reach its goal, your donation still goes to the organizer unless they have explicitly set the campaign to return donations if the goal is not met.
Yes. Do Donate does not store your full card details on its servers. All payments are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider, and your financial information is encrypted during transmission. You can also save payment methods securely to your account for faster future donations. For additional peace of mind, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account.
Yes. Do Donate accepts donations from donors in most countries around the world. Payments are processed in the currency selected at checkout, and currency conversion may apply depending on your card issuer. Some campaigns may be restricted to donors in specific regions — if a campaign is not available in your location, you will see a message explaining this on the campaign page.
If you come across a campaign that you believe is fraudulent, misleading, or violates our guidelines, click the Report Campaign button found on every campaign page. Provide as much detail as possible about your concern. Our trust and safety team reviews all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include pausing or removing the campaign.
